MIDDLESEX COUNTY, Va. – Today representatives from Middlesex County, the Middlesex Broadband
Authority, and All Points Broadband celebrated the 100th customer connection to All Points’ all-fiber
network in Middlesex County at a community member’s home in Jamaica. The network buildout is
substantially complete and on schedule to offer fiber broadband to approximately 1000 unserved homes
later this summer.
Middlesex County is the tenth Virginia county where All Points Broadband has construction underway or
completed through public-private partnerships and partnership with Dominion Energy Virginia. The
Middlesex project is funded through investments by Middlesex County, the Department of Housing and
Community Development’s Virginia Telecommunications Initiative, All Points Broadband and Dominion
Energy Virginia.
“This was not just an infrastructure project, it was an investment in the future of Middlesex,” said Don
Harris, Chair of the Middlesex County Board of Supervisors. “I am proud of the Middlesex
Broadband Authority and our partners for making this vision a reality.”
“For years we have heard from folks in the upper end of the county who felt left behind,” said Wayne
Jessie, Chair of the Middlesex Broadband Authority. “Today we are proud to say we kept our promise
to close the digital divide.”

companies work together,” said Kevin Gentry, Executive Director of the Middlesex Broadband
Authority. “It is a proud moment for our county.”
