A Better Router Changes Everything

Your router is the engine behind every connected device in your home. An upgraded WiFi 6 Router delivers faster speeds, stronger signal, and handles more devices at once without slowdowns. It is the single biggest upgrade you can make to how your home connects.

Questions About Home WiFi Services?

Managed Wi-Fi from All Points Broadband gives you enhanced control, wider coverage, and remote support for your home network. Unlike a standard router, our team can diagnose and resolve most issues remotely without needing to visit your home. It also optimizes coverage across larger spaces, including hard-to-reach rooms, and comes with built-in security.

The free APB Connect App lets you manage your Managed Wi-Fi network from your phone. You can view all connected devices, set parental controls, manage users and passwords, set up a guest network, and more. It’s available for both iOS and Android.

Yes, customers may use their own router. However, please note that our support team can only troubleshoot and diagnose issues with All Points Broadband-provided equipment. If you’re using a third-party router, support for that device will fall outside what we’re able to assist with.

  1. Check your connection on another device. If you are able to connect on another device, restart the first device to see if it resolves your issue.
  2. If that doesn’t resolve your issue, or if all devices are unable to connect to Wi-Fi, remove the power cord from the back of the router for 30 seconds.
  3. While it reboots, make sure your other cables are plugged in correctly. For fixed wireless customers, there should only be one black power cable, and one ethernet cable leading to the data port (the port will say LAN/data/gigabit) on the power injector(POE).
  4. Plug in the router again and wait for it to reboot. This can take 3-5 minutes.
  5. If this doesn’t resolve the issue, fixed wireless customers can reboot the radio (modem) by unplugging the power cord from the wall outlet. (If you have your equipment plugged into a surge protector/power-strip, please do not use the switch on that to reboot.) Please allow 3-5 minutes to allow everything to power up before testing the connection.
  6. If these steps do not resolve the issue, please contact our support team.
  7. Reboot the router by removing the power cord from the back of the router for 30 seconds. During that 30 seconds, make sure that all of your other cables are plugged in correctly. Fixed wireless customers should have only one black power cable and one ethernet cable leading to the data port (the port will say LAN/data/gigabit) on the power injector(POE). Next, remove all connected devices from your Wi-Fi network, and reconnect only ONE device, preferably over an ethernet connection from the router if possible. If these steps do not resolve the issue, please contact our support team.

Start by testing your speed at speedtest.net. Then unplug the power cord from your router for 30 seconds, check that all cables are securely connected, and plug it back in — allow 3–5 minutes for it to reboot. Try connecting a single device via Ethernet if possible. If the issue persists, contact our support team at 804-817-3055.

A router is included in all plans. To learn more about our managed Wi-Fi service click HERE. Alternatively, customers may use their own router. However, our customer support team cannot support or diagnose issues with third-party routers.

If you cut your fiber optic line or the line from your fixed wireless antenna to your home, contact our office to repair the damage. Depending on the nature of the issue you may be charged for the service call.
