How is fiber internet different from cable or satellite?
Unlike cable (which sends data as electrical signals through copper wires) or satellite (which relies on signals traveling to and from space), fiber internet uses pulses of light traveling through thin glass strands. This gives you faster speeds, greater reliability, and performance that isn’t disrupted by bad weather or obstacles blocking a signal path. Does fiber internet offer the same upload and download speeds?

What happens during a fiber internet installation?
A fiber optic line is run to your home, either aerially on poles or buried underground, following the same path as your electricity. The line connects to an ONT (Optical Network Terminal or fiber modem) at your home, which then connects to your router. Our technicians handle the full setup and will make sure your wireless network is up and running before they leave.
